Mike Bird has written a nice piece on the author of our favourite blog in which it becomes clear that we need to thank Mike for encouraging Ben to start blogging in the first place.
Mike adds: ‘We can wait anxiously for ... when he finally publishes his own eighteen volumes on Christian Theology.’
Great, and I look forward to it too. But try to be more succinct, Ben – no need to be Barthian in number of words. Three volumes ought to do it.
My forthcoming three volume treatise on theology could serve as a useful model: Vol 1., The Worlds Greatest Christians, and How I Lead Them All to The Lord. Vol 2., A Seriously Large Number of Exceptional Reasons Why You Should Visit my Amazon Wish List and Liberally Spend Your Money on Me. Vol 3., Appendices to Vol 2.

And I thought that mine was the favorite blog : )
Chris, where did you get the photo of Jim West wearing that hat?
Oh dear Cynthia, I think you should do what I do every morning and meditate on Rom 12.3 :) But you'll always be our second favourite.
Chris, I enjoyed the chat, hope I didn't cause your headache. Talking to someone with an Aussie accent can do that to poms!!
Michael, how about a "third way"--perhaps I could be the first American favorite?
Is it Jim? I thought it looked like him ... but is it??? Mike's or Australia's Nemesis or something?
I thought the photo was of Chris during his time as a tourist to Australia....

Hey Cythia,Your blog is of course the absolute best in the whole universe, all alien species included.

Hi Mike,
This does look like Jim doesn't it?!
You weren't the cause of the headache, no - 1 Cor 7 was.
BUT YOU MADE IT MUCH WORSE.
Steph, no, it's not Jim. I wish I had a picture of Jim like that.
Ben,
Oi!
You people are SO MEAN. I mean really, attributing to the handsome looking lad in that photo the notion that it's me! You've insulted him tremendously and may have even committed the unpardonable sin (you know, calling something evil when it's good and something good when it's evil)...
I would have to have serious plastic surgery to look that good.
