Thanks Chris for your comment and the picture which is hugely flattering.
Overall, I just wanted to make the really important point that I am offended by your use of the phrase "baby-eating Baptist" - I only eat those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and Lord.
And as for that Acts stuff - hell what do I know - other than to say that I sill find problematic that one can take a stance of either fundamental distrust, or fundamental trust to a text that so obviously combines the historical, the theological and the downright legendary.
Sorry about the email not working. Why not just try the Durham Diocese and see what they give you.
Hi Sean,
Yea, well, lets face it. You're probably right. Ho hum.
And, yes, I guess I'll contact the Durham Diocese striaght now.
Thanks.
Ah, now I know who 666 stands for! Well he did post it on 6/6/6 and given the twaddle on TV and radio about 'The Omen' it seems clear that '666 is the number of his name' (Though, as Sean may understand, some of us thought that stood for Mr Baby, not one who dines thereon)
:-)
