Welcome to Chrisendom!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you 'Chrisendom'.

For the past 6 months (July – December 2005) my blog has been called 'Brainpoo', and while still on this same website, has a different address:

http://www.christilling.de/brainpoo/Brainpoo.html

All of the Brainpoo posts will remain on my website, and links to the entire 2005 archives can be found on the sidebar to the right. This means any links to any of my older posts remain active.

I'll still be posting the same sort of things, but I hope that this wider framework is more pleasant to read, and that the altered graphics and additions in the sidebar make things more interesting.

The changes to the graphics and framework are not yet finished, and so if anyone has any further suggestions ...

Congratulations, nice overhaul! Where did you get that bearded fellow - he is not you in disguise, is he?

I rather like his blue shirt, it reminds me of those shirts the "FDJ", the state youth organization in East Germany, used to wear. His beard, however, looks very "kirchliche Opposition".

Hi Simon!

How did you find this link before it went 'live'?!!

No, this bearded bloke is most definitely not me in disguise. Gladly. And I suspect that a beard and uniform like this is meant to be scary. Hence the resemblance with the FDJ ...

Whatever else can be said, I reckon he looks as Kansas City Fundie scary as it gets.

Ok, I think the new site looks great, I like the name, and I especially like the header and pics in the header and the header description.

Looks cool, dude.

I like it. Though I like my suggestion better. ;-)

btw, if God Almighty hates book "lerners" does that mean he hates those who learn from the book called "The Bible?"

If He does, I'm in big trouble.

That pic goes in all kinds of directions, doesn't it?

Hi TB, I think that's one of the amusing features of this photo!

Fancy standing there with a sign saying God hates book learners, while waving around a book they read daily!

Jim, I've added a small Tübingen motif in honour of your 'Tübinger' suggestion: My Tübingen car number plate, umlaut and all.

Or, to follow up Jim's suggestion, you could also change the subtitle to "Tübingen's (that is to say, the world's) cleverest person". Theologically, this would make quite a lot of sense. ;-)

Like Simon, I also cheated and found your new site before it had been launched (thanks to the ever-watchful Technocrati).

And to celebrate the fact that your blog is no longer named after a bodily function, I have even changed "Chris Tilling" to "Chrisendom" in my sidebar...

Ahhhh! That's how he did it!
